Meet the leaders of BMF in the UK Minimize

The following men are the current members of the UK Council of Business Men's Fellowship, which is effictively our board of directors. These men are responsible for the leadership of BMF in the UK and oversee the work in Europe and Africa. However, this is a team ministry and each member plays a vital part in the work and success of this organization. We also want to declare that ultimately Jesus Christ is the head of this organization - He is our inspiration, our provision and the purpose behind all that we do in BMF.

 
Steven Turnbull - Chief Executive Officer

Steven Turnbull  LLM BSc(Hons) MCIArb MFEPSAC ICIOB

 

Steven was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and a trustee of BMF in the UK in February 2010. He is also president of the West Lothian chapter of BMF and has spoken at BMF dinners and events in Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic and USA. In his home town, Steven is also a founding trustee of the BASICS Trust and an elder in the Church of Scotland.

Steven has a number of business initiatives that keep him occupied at work. He is the co-founder and majority share holder of Country Lifestyle Homes, a property company that has won numerous awards, including 'House of the Year 2009' at the Scottish Home Awards and had a turnover of £3million prior to the recent recession. Steven is a business coach and sports psychologist, working with clients in several countries, including top professional footballers, coaches and managers. He is also co-owner of Netkast, a marketing company that helps small to medium sized businesses improve their marketing and expand their client base, with special emphasis on harnessing the power of the internet for very little cost. Steven also undertakes construction consultancy work, is a chartered builder, a chartered arbitrator and has acted as an expert witness in construction related court cases. In addition, he is a director of soil fertility company Organic Soil Systems, who have developed the world's most potent Organic compost, which repairs soil to a state of natural health.

 
Duncan Dougall - Chairman Minimize

Duncan Dougall

Duncan has been chairman of BMF in the UK for a number of years and is a founding trustee. His involvement in this fellowship has taken him to places such as Austria, Romania, Hungary, Denmark and USA. He is also the former president of the Falkirk & Stirling chapter of BMF.

Duncan is a recently retired physiotherapist, having spent his entire career helping thousands of patients whilst working his way up the ladder in the National Health Service. Now he spends many of his weekdays at the golf course. Duncan is involved with a number of Christian organizations and worships in the baptist church in his home town of Falkirk.

 
Allan Jones - Director of Overseas Outreach

Allan Jones

Allan is a founding member of the BMF council in the UK. In his role as Director of Overseas Outreach he has shared his testimony at dinners and meetings in over 70 countries. Allan has been instrumental in developing the work of the Business Men's Fellowship around the world.

From starting off with a career in science as a research physicist, Allan is now a full time evangelist. God has worked through Allan to bring thousands of people to faith in Jesus Christ and bring healing to thousands of people from all manner of sicknesses and conditions.

 
Howard Mole - Treasurer

Howard Mole

Howard Mole was appointed as the national treasurer for BMF in the UK in 2010. He is also the secretary for the Inverclyde Chapter, having previously served as the chapter president there for a number of years, whilst undertaking numerous overseas outreaches as part of BMF.
 
Howard is a Relation Director for Royal Bank of Scotland and has a portfolio of around 80 Housing Association customers, covering the north of England and as far as Stornoway in the north of Scotland, with a combined borrowing in the region of £450million.
 
Paul Fenton - Council Secretary

Paul Fenton

Paul was appointed as the Business Men's Fellowship UK Council Secretary in February 2010. He has been a member of the Wigan chapter for a number of years and has supported men in key roles in the organisation in that time.

Paul runs his own company, which utilizes a custom made education bus with computer suite, working alongside media companies enhancing the education of young people in a school environment throughout the UK.

 
George Collins - National Membership Secretary

  George Collins

George was appointed as National Membership Secretary early in 2010. Playing an integral  part in the life of this organisation, his many other roles in the Business Men's Fellowship include being editor of our monthly e-newsletter, recording our national conferences and leading worship at numerous events.

George is a very gifted communicator and administrator, having spent much of his career as a mortgage salesman and advisor.

 
David Walker - Director for Scotland

  David Walker

David is the treasurer of the Airdrie & Coatbridge chapter of the Business Men's Fellowship and is our director for Scotland. He has spoken and helped develope the work of BMF in many countries, with recent trips to Kenya, Burundi and Latvia.

David is responsible for technical approval of new, high voltage switch gear and forensic investigations for Scottish Power, an energy company who operates throughout the UK.

 
Des Duffy - Director for Wales

Des Duffy

Des is the president of the Bridgend chapter of Business Men's Fellowship and is our main point of contact in Wales.

He is a freelance training consultant and researcher with the National Centre for Social Research UK.

 
Brad Turkington - Director for Ireland

Brad Turkington

 Brad is our director for Ireland and a long serving member of the Business Men's Fellowship UK Council. His former roles include being the national treasurer.

Starting out in life as a promising footballer, training with the likes of Arsenal Football Club, Brad decided to go down the route of another profession, enjoying a career in accountancy.

 
John Watt - Media Director

John Watt

 John is a founding member of the Business Men's Fellowship in the UK and is president of the Chiltern Chapter. He actively promotes the work of BMF in Eastern Europe and is learning to speak Russian. His travels as an ambassador for BMF have taken him as far as India. John is an IT Consultant, currently working with River Island Clothing, a market leading company in the fashion industry.  

 
Eric Woodward - Answer Magazine Director

Eric Woodward

Eric is a founding director of the Business Men's Fellowship in the UK. He is the European editor of Answer Magazine, collecting testimonies from men across Europe.

Eric owns his own Car Sales Brokerage, Harbour Garage, specializing in up to three year old , one owner , Full Service history , low Mileage Cars and Light vans. He also runs a very successful Bed and Breakfast on the South Coast of England. His other church activities include being a Trustee for David Hathaways, Eurovision Mission to Europe.
 

 
Stuart Jones - Director for North England

Stuart Jones

Stuart is the Business Men's Fellowship Director for the north of England. He was appointed to join the BMF UK council in early 2010, where his enthusiasm and passion have been a vital ingredient in the growth of the fellowship. His roles in the fellowship include being president of the Wigan chapter.

Stuart is a postman with Royal Mail.

 

 

 
Dillon Harris - Director for South England

Dillon Harris

Dillon is a founding director and trustee of Business Men's Fellowship in the UK, currently serving as Director for the South of England. Dillon's involvement with the fellowship over the years has led him to visit numerous countries and forge relationships with people all over the world.

Dillon has enjoyed owning and running his own engineering supply company, specializing in low technology essential equipment (eg. nuts and bolts), for the last 30 years.
